Malmaison & Hotel du Vin Team Up with The Brain Charity to Raise Awareness of Neurodiversity

Lifestyle hotel groups Malmaison & Hotel du Vin are proud to announce a new charity relationship with The Brain Charity, a national organisation dedicated to raising awareness of neurodiversity and supporting individuals living with neurological conditions.

The two-year relationship between Malmaison & Hotel du Vin and The Brain Charity will launch in Q4 of 2023 showcasing their dedication to fostering a more inclusive society. The relationship will focus on multiple initiatives to make a positive impact for neurodivergent staff and guests alongside raising awareness for the 1 in 6 people in the UK affected by a neurological condition, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, stroke, and dementia.

Key initiatives include:

  • Employee Training: Malmaison & Hotel du Vin’s 2,500 employees will undergo neurodiversity training, equipping them to better support neurodivergent customers and colleagues within their hotels, bars, and restaurants.
  • Sleep and Brain Health Awareness: Guests can receive tips on improving sleep quality, emphasising the crucial role sleep plays in maintaining brain health.
  • Customer Engagement: Customers will have the option to round up their food, drink, or hotel room bill, with the additional amount being donated to The Brain Charity.

Pippa Sargent, CEO of The Brain Charity said: “We are truly honoured to team up with Malmaison & Hotel du Vin who have been enthusiastic in their commitment to champion our mission. We are really excited by the opportunity to increase public understanding and can’t wait to get to work putting our ideas into action.
